Your files

When you convert a .pub file, the conversion runs inside your own web browser. Your file is not uploaded to PubToPDF or to any other server. When you close or reload the page, your files and the PDFs are cleared from memory.

What we collect

PubToPDF does not ask you to create an account and does not use cookies to track you. Like any website, the company that hosts this site (GitHub Pages) may keep standard technical logs, such as the address of the device that requested a page and the time of the request.

Third-party services

The converter program itself (about 50 MB) is downloaded from the ZetaOffice content network at cdn.zetaoffice.net when you open the converter. That download is a normal request for a program and does not include your files.

Visitor counts

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. It records simple facts such as which page was viewed, the country of the visit, the browser and screen size, and which website sent the visitor. It never sees your .pub files or your PDFs. The counter loads from gc.zgo.at and reports to pubtopdf.goatcounter.com.

Changes

If we add features that change how data is handled, such as advertising, we will update this page before they start.
