Is it really free?
Yes. Converting .pub files to PDF is free, with no account and no watermark.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Will the PDF look exactly like it did in Publisher?
Usually it looks very close. Layout, colors, shapes and pictures carry over. If a font from the original file is not available, a similar font is used instead, so text can shift slightly. Special effects such as WordArt may not carry over. Always look over the PDF before you rely on it.
Can I edit the PDF afterward?
A PDF is meant for viewing and printing, not editing. If you need to keep editing the design, the free LibreOffice program can open .pub files directly, and Word or Canva are good places to rebuild a design.
Does it work on my phone?
It works best on a computer or Chromebook. Phones and tablets often do not have enough memory for the converter. See our phone and tablet guide.
